An important read for Methodists. Henry Clay Morrison: Remember the Old Paths, by Ron Smith, published by Francis Asbury Society. H.C. Morrison was the founder of Asbury Seminary, president of Asbury College (and the seminary), and evangelist, and publisher. In many ways, the Global Methodist Church is his doing, even though hed died about 80 years before we started. Ron Smith, the president of the Francis Asbury Society has given us a great resource.

I have been called to intercede in prayer tonight. I am not sure exactly why. I know that some of my people have received hard blows, to the extent it is gut check time: do we believe that our present sufferings are not to be compared to the glory about to be revealed in us?

But I am not sure that is the sole reason i am called to pray tonight.

I know Satan is not happy because my big struggle this evening has been bitterness and being ill-tempered, an attempt to shame me out of praying. But I am not ignorant of his schemes. And so I have pushed through!
