There is no cure for VBS

Ah, VBS. Such a wonderful, powerful outreach. Especially this year! I have 6 middle schoolers trained by a YWAM adventures in mission camp, ready to talk to people about Jesus. They are going to be my minions, following up with all the VBS families.

I love VBS. I have it easy, I know. Everyone else does the hard work, and I get to hang out with the kids.

There really is no way to thank the volunteers who make it happen.

This is the second VBS we have done ourselves… Mattea van Zee writes the curriculum, and others decorate and cook and teach and provide security and check-in/check-out and teach dance/music and run sound and….people of the church give so much.

And the kids love it. They study the Word. They get loved on. They hear the Gospel.

And you can even get cat make-up done by a committee of 4.
